Trail Angel Program

Trail Angels

The Sydenham BTC is pleased to launch a volunteer-run service for hikers to shuttle between the start and end points of a hike within the Sydenham section of the Bruce Trail.

This service is for hikers who are doing a through-hike, who would normally need two vehicles at the start and end of their hike.  With the help of a Trail Angel, hikers only need to bring one vehicle. Hikers whose starting location has limited or no parking could also request a Trail Angel.

How to find a Trail Angel

Please fill out the form below to provide details about your hike. While every effort is made to accommodate all requests, there is no guarantee that a volunteer will be available. Send your request for a ride at least 1 to 2 weeks before your hike. A maximum of 4 hikers can be given a ride.

How to support Trail Angels and the Sydenham Club

Sydenham Trail Angels volunteer their time and gas with an expectation that their rider(s) will make a donation (for each shuttle) to the Sydenham Bruce Trail Club. Donations help us to maintain our section of the Trail.

Please make a donation at the Bruce Trail Conservancy site and indicate it is for the Sydenham Bruce Trail Club.
Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable contribution receipt, if requested. We will require a full name and mailing address (email is not sufficient).

If you are interested in being a volunteer for this program, or have any questions, please contact us at: sydenhamtrailangel@gmail.com
